1. Environment Abstraction Layer (bus and PCI) changes

The change to EAL related to disentangling dependency on PCI are large
and not getting sufficient review. This is a big change and not
getting sufficient and timely review. The ARM bits are getting review
but others not as much. Most of the subsystems have been updated but
it appears that pdump and KNI still depend on PCI.

One action item is to post a list of patches still in need of review
on a weekly basis. This will remind interested parties to look deeper.

A related item is that hotplug support status. The current model is
limited and those limitations are not documented. More works needs to
be done to get a better solution. Need a TODO for 17.08 release.

The current Xen support (Dom0 only) was also mentioned but discussion
of the future status of this was deferred to a later meeting.

2. Fail Safe Poll Mode driver

The driver is ready for merge in current state. Consensus was for
including this driver in 17.08 release. This driver (and bonding) do
bring up a number of architectural issues that should be examined in
future releases: better configuration, support of layered devices, and
hotplug integration.

3. Hosting

There have been requests to provide developer repositories (forge) on
dpdk.org. The consensus was that this would be outside the scope of
the current dpdk.org because of the effort, security, and management
required. Possible options of pointing users at github or gitlab were
discussed without resolution. The topic should be discussed on mailing
list.

4. Bug tracking

Previous meetings reached consensus on setting up a bug tracker.
No progress was made on setting up anything. Probably better to move
the topic to the mailing list, to get more input. Maybe external sites
outside of dpdk.org could be used.

5. Build system

The new build system was mentioned as exciting enhancement. Discussion
is best done on mailing list for now.

6. Next meeting

Rotating back to start, Thomas will chair.
