Hi,

FYI, your patch has been queued to stable release 21.11.1

Note it hasn't been pushed to http://dpdk.org/browse/dpdk-stable yet.
It will be pushed if I get no objections before 02/26/22. So please
shout if anyone has objections.

Also note that after the patch there's a diff of the upstream commit vs the
patch applied to the branch. This will indicate if there was any rebasing
needed to apply to the stable branch. If there were code changes for rebasing
(ie: not only metadata diffs), please double check that the rebase was
correctly done.

Queued patches are on a temporary branch at:
https://github.com/kevintraynor/dpdk-stable

This queued commit can be viewed at:
https://github.com/kevintraynor/dpdk-stable/commit/1fdfd87f14eb4063ce5c13d83a4b8399346a5610

Thanks.

Kevin

Subject: [PATCH] eal: fix C++ include

[ upstream commit 59144f6edd884bfc392143b60bf4d0f082053784 ]

C++ files could not include some headers because:

* "new" is a keyword in C++, so can't be a variable name
* there is no automatic casting to/from void *

Fixes: 184104fc6121 ("ticketlock: introduce fair ticket based locking")
Fixes: 032a7e5499a0 ("trace: implement provider payload")
