Hi Klaus,

I've done this with quite a small form factor, and relatively cheaply using
a Minnowboard Max, SilverJaw Lure, and Jetway i350 Dual port 1Gig miniPCI card.
I can now ssh in to the Realtek interface on the Minnowboard Max, and
send traffic between the two I350 ports using DPDK.

Silverjaw Lure: http://www.tincantools.com/MinowBoard_Max_Add-ons/Silverjaw_Lure.html
Jetway dual port i350 NIC: http://www.logicsupply.com/admpeidla/

Minnowboard Max's seem to be getting hard to get, but the Minnowboard Turbot might be a
reasonable alternative.

I made my own cables, as the ones supplied with the NIC were too bulky, so I got a few
suitable connectors and ribbon cable from my local electronics supplier.

Hope this helps,
Dave.
